Mike Kelley, a born & raised North Texan, began his culinary career studying and working in Austin Texas. He was fortunate enough to work with amazingly talented Chefs and colleagues along the way and develop a passion for simple, honest cuisine with careful consideration of quality farm sourced products. This led to two month period of traveling in the Rhone Valley and South Eastern France working on local organic farms studying sustainable farming practices. Amidst these travels, Mike and his wife fell in love with the city of Munich and relocated there to live and work for some time. Family brought them back to the Pacific Northwest where Mike was able to work closely with an experienced beer brewing master and procure a new appreciation of the regions natural bounty. Now, after being away for some time and working a demanding job as a traveling chef, Mike has returned to his home in North Texas and hopes to take his accumulated experiences and apply them to the variety of products and cuisine that makes Texas so unique.

HISTORY & Mission
Tres Dallas started as a small pop-up dinner club utilizing unique, non-traditional spaces for temporary dining events stripped down to the most basic elements. Quickly realizing the potential, Tres & Dallas Farmer's Market teamed up to create Farm Shed Dinners bringing the pop-up concept to help highlight and share the constant growth within the North Texas farming community and at the local Market.
Tres Dallas strives to create new and exciting restaurant quality dishes while building upon the important relationship between chef & farmer. Bringing people closer to their food through education and camaraderie is at the heart of the Tres dinner table.
Relationships with small businesses and start-ups alike are deeply important and without them Tres would be unable to function. These relationships are the backbone of an ever-growing swath of the local community.
Tres has also played host to a variety of businesses looking for a professional hand in creating their next events. From social happy hours to prix-fixe wine and dine soirees, the Tres Dallas team can make your next event a success!
